The time has come and although I wanted a video or something a little more in tune with the holiday, it’s hard to find a video on ole’ St. Nick in ZBrush! Regardless, here is a great demo reel from character artist Kevin Cassidy. Very talented indeed and I look forward to seeing more work from him. To all of you, have a wonderful and safe Christmas holiday, and do spend some time ZBrushing! Cheers!
Oh, and I JUST noticed about the comments and contact forms acting all screwey, so I’m trying to fix that now! Sorry about that!
An AMAZING face ZBrush “Doodle”. This guy (person) takes their sculpture to the next level. Some really fantastic showcasing here. One thing really interesting about this video, is how many times he changes his mind on the mouth, and starts over until he gets it right! Great little process piece here which I think illustrates that you can really push you ideas further using ZBrush!
Check out this flippin AMAZING head sculpture in ZBrush 3! This video showcases some incredible elegant yet simple detail in a head sculpture. Really nice work. I love the detail of the shirt for this as well. Really well done ZBrusing! The artist said it took about 25 hours to do.
Sorry for the tardy post! The holidays are always crazy and busy and some things fall through the cracks at times! However, here is a new video that is a fantastic speed ZBrushing of a human torso! Very well done indeed.
Why is it when doodling in zbrush that the result usually ends up being an Alien head? This to me is one of the most exciting things about zbrush. Being able to sit down and doodle something into 3D space.
Since the release of ZBrush 3, I have really struggled in understanding how to place Sub-tools in ZBrush. That means, placing things like eyes (as seperate geometry), or teeth, or earings, you know. That kind of stuff. So now I found this great little video that give a pretty good explination on how to to just that! No more eyeless….faces!! Fricken sweet.
Here is a sweet little video on how to model a ear in ZBrush! Modeling ears, human ears, has always been a frustraiting experience for me. After this video, I BE CURED!!! HALLELUJAH AMEN!!!
