Check out the interview of this fantastic artist! While your at it, and since if done all the stalking…uh… Imean research, you can see more of her portfolio here at CGPortfolio, and then check out some of the awesome work from Blur Studios. They give me the warm fuzzis when I see their work. *sniff.
Howdy everyone. I’m finally back from Oslo! It was a fantastic trip but an incredibly long flight. The food, drink and company was fantastic and I loved every second of it. You may have noticed I have not been updating the site during this little business excursion of mine. Just to much to do and see while I was in Norway. But I’am back now and will be putting some more zbrush training videos/tutorials up soon!
I have received several emails lately asking questions about zbrush training and what I recommend for purchased training materials. I just stumble across this book by Wayne Robson (aka noggity), Essential ZBrush. So I thought I would share this with y’all before I head out this coming weekend to Oslo, Norway. Anyways this book looks pretty interesting and I’m planning on ordering this once I get back (to many unexpected costs for this trip right now). As well, we just moved into our first purchased home set in the little northern town of Airdrie, here in Alberta! So new house stuff, expenses, and unpacking have taken up a lot of time! On top of all of this! My video card and DVD drive pouched! So I ended up just upgrading everything which was going to happen anyways. New system that has to be installed. Good times. So check out this book and learning how to do cool stuff like in this video!
this is a great video showing, well, the anatomy of the human face in zbrush! A lot of really great (fast) use of zspheres in this. You may have to watch it a few times!
Athletic human male ztl tool (model) for zbrush donated generiously by Nick Zuccarello! Very cool indeed! So grab this free zbrush model and use it to jump start some crazy awesome ideas! Or work on some tutorials for cloth, hair, accessories, positioning, etc. Be sure to share your results in the zbrush flickr group below and to the right!
Just found this great little zbrush video showcasing a little mountain scene. I can’t help but imagine some Old timey gold digger sitting on his rocking chair with a shotgun and a pick axe and a little pot of gold.
